Last night Dad was reading the Bible to us after dinner, we've been reading through the book of Acts. We were reading the part where the centurion sent soldiers to Peter. "How do you think they got there? Why didn't they drive a car?"
"'Cause their weren't any cars," Matthew said.
"So how did they get there, Joey?" asked Dad.
"They rode horses, or mules," Joey answered. "Or pigs."
"Or pigs," Dad nodded, amused. The rest of us were cracking up.

"What are you looking at, Ben?" Dad asked.
"Mom's pictures," he said.
"Mom's pictures?" Dad questioned.
"Mom's wedding picture's," clarified Ben.
"Oh, they're Mom's wedding pictures?" said Dad.
"'up," agreed Ben. (Dad has started saying 'up' instead of 'yep' now, he likes Ben's version so well.)
"Who did she get married to, Ben?"
"I don't know," was the essence of Ben's answer, but the way he says it is like saying just the vowels without any consonants, but with lots of voice inflection. It's hard to explain, but it's something we all have fun with.
"So why am I there?" was Dad's next question. He didn't get an answer for that one, either. ;-)
