Nate's snow shovel broke. While he was in town buying a replacement he stopped for lunch. When he got back, someone had messed up his solitaire game. When asked who destroyed the game, each of the following people gave the following excuses.
Groundskeeper - weeded garden
Cook - made Nate's dinner
Butler - fixed broken door knob
Maid - changed sheets on bed
Which one of them messed up the game?

Mystery #2
Elena, Joy, Sarah and Marie went to a clothes store. when they had left, the floorwalker discovered a red sweater missing. The manager called all 4 girls back and told them there was a sweater missing and wanted to know who did it. Each of the girls gave the following excuses:
Elena: Me? Why no. I wouldn't do something like that. Ask Joy.
Joy: I hate stealing, its a sin. Ask Sarah, I'll bet she did it.
Sarah: Are you serious? I don't even like the color red. Ask Marie.
Marie: Of course it wasn't me. I wasn't even shopping on that side of the store.
Which one of the girls stole the sweater?
